We have KMS server up and we have a silent custom install of LYNC 2013 (Recently if you apply all the Windows updates it allows for "Skype for Business" branding if enabled on that user account in the lync server). We've had Lync 2013 for years, basically since its release and on PC's with either Office 2010 or 2013 Home and Business (whatever was available at the time from Dell), and now a few Office 2016 on Office 365.
